Is there a sitting fee?

There is no studio costs or sitting fees. The session is free of charge. Your session is exclusively for you.

How long does a photography session take?

From start to finish, it generally takes one hour. I bring lights if we need them that I can fit in any size room and a plain white/ black backdrop. We might need to push the couch to the side but it wont cause too much distruption!

For babies and young children book a session for a time that suits them - avoiding nap and meal times.

What should we wear?

There are no rules about what you should wear for your portrait session, but there are some guidelines you may wish to to consider.

Choose clothes without bold patterns or logos that may date your photographs.  Simpler styles make your portraits more timeless.

For a family shoot, it is best to decide whether you would prefer a more formal or casual look. Prepare yourself for your portrait session as you would if you were going out. Having your hair groomed, makeup on and your favourite outfit on will all help you to feel more confident and enjoy the session. For colour portraits, it is a good idea to consider how the colours you choose will look hanging on the wall in your home.

How many images will we see?

Typically your gallery will contain approximately 20-30 images, these will represent the very best shots from your session and I will individually develop and enhance each one to create a beautiful, fine art portrait or a collage of images.

When will I receive my framed prints?

At the end of your session, I discuss what type of prints you may require and what framed prints would look well in your house. Within 2 weeks, your images are ready to view online in a secure client area. Once you decide what you would like to order, a 50% deposit is paid and delivery takes up 2-3 weeks.

How do I make a booking?

Please contact Niamh by phone or email to book your slot, or alternatively purchase one of our framed prints and fill out the purchase form on checkout.
